   I have a question why does it take so long for a court date to be set up for someone who has beat a pregnant woman and have had several other battery charges and other related charges when u can see he is a violent person. I know that the courts are busy but, I think that people like that should be set a trial date right off the bat not 2 or 3 years later that is crazy. I would just like an answer why?

   I can only answer that I know someone who has been accused of and charged with Child Molestin (2 C's and a D felony) more than 2 years ago and there have been about 10 continuances in the case for a number of reasons. So---while the courts try to get their act together, one of three things could be happening---either his reputation is being ruined more and more every day (if aquitted or case just dies), he has been given 2 years to be free AND see his children...and no matter how closely he is being watched--who's to say he isn;t touching them or planning on it later, or THREE----the case will never go to trial because too much time has lapsed. In any event, I agree that it is crazy, but....what can you do?

My boyfriend was arrest in 2010 on a charge took to jail and they released him a few hours later and now I got pulled over and they took him to jail and charging him with a class b and d felony what can be done science they let him go when they arrested him on these charges and just let him go
