Im with the people who are pissed about why they put a Goddamned phone number to inquire about an inmate/detainee and no one answers. The BOP needs to get on the ball and reform the whole entire Federal Prisons instead of bailing Wall Street out and giving away our tax dollars to foreign countries that hate our guts, anyway. My brother was transferred from WV to OK City just to be detained...does that make any fucking sense?

  9. Kiesha Miller Thu, Mar 08 2012 6:45 PM

My husband is there now and we are from South Carolina I too have been calling and on answer and I have been trying to add him to the email thing and I cant because it says that there are zero records found. Im new to this and this is very stressful. Can someone, anyone who knows any information that may help me out please respond. Thanks

I hope the phones continue NOT to work. My brother's murderer is at the Oklahoma City Prison. We can never again have contact with my brother, why should he have the privilage to talk to his family. He's there for a reason.....

  12. lisa Sat, Sep 29 2012 1:06 PM

to anyone who is trying to contact by phone. I have been successful only if i call at 12:30 eastern standard time. and they still can't tell you anything but that they are there. and to the one who hopes no one gets through. not every one is there for murder. I feel sorry for your loss, hope you can learn to forgive.

  13. Special Mon, Oct 01 2012 4:07 AM

I agree the CO's at Oklahoma FTC don't answer the phones as often as other facilities. But I was successful a few different time. Perhaps it is just timing. But it sucks that no one can give any information on our loved ones, except them. I wonder what are some of the typical stops once a person leaves OKC FTC??? Is there a flight itinerary that can be located online? I'm not concerned with who will be on the flight, just where the flights typically go once the depart OKC FTC...

  14. lala Sun, Jan 13 2013 11:32 PM

it sucks knowing my husband has tryed to call but you guys never answer to see what phone service i go through stupid asses and were from san antonio, why have a contact number if you guys never answer!!!

ONE DAY I CAME BACK TO MY OFFICE after chow and five or six Black men who you knew just got off the bus because they still had on Brown flip flops, had commandeered my Office, desk, Terry's desk and just hanging around talking loud, just killing time. I didn't say anything and went back out into the general public area and sat down and started reading a worn out photocopy of Miranda v. Arizona I kept in my pocket for when I found a minute and the need to punish myself. Terry would be here in a minute… I SEEN TERRY COMING down the length of the hall through large waist high windows with fine safety glass wires in them and only caught his eye for a flicker of a second and my heart began to race and he knew something was wrong. I didn’t look up and acted like I never seen him even after he enters the room and starts back the length of the hall back to the Office and Half-door standing open unattended. I didn’t look up but in my mind’s eye I could see the incredulous look on his face getting Red after he see’s these “DC Nigger’s” they were called. Because they come from the US Capital they don’t think the laws apply to them. None of the other Blacks get along with them and everyone needs to scared of them. The only reason they were even in the Federal System was the intricate snafu in Criminal Jurisdiction in the District of Columbia and ordinary State’s. They were a rare breed about to meet USMC First Sergeant, Scout and Sniper Terry Barrett who’s never off duty and he hasn’t been in a good mood in years. SECOND DRAFT 5/2/2013 2:24:58 PM I COULD HEAR THEM WHOOP’N IT UP back there in my office, talking laud and laughing at each other’s nonsense. Like the Sabine Indians south Louisiana and Texas they terrorized everywhere they went by rolling eight or nine, even fifteen deep. You know it was the DC Niggers to because when they leave tempers are flying; purses are missing, bloody noses and people on the way to the hospital and the cops on the way. With the Sabine’s it’s Party, Fuck and Fight. The DC Niggers it Fight, Steal and Fight; usually with each other. You see eight or nine of them together and they all have the same name, “DC.” I EXPECTED TO SEE THE BIG ONE with the biggest mouth with his feet up on my desk, flying head first over that half door and the sound of banging and body’s making that sickening thud when it slams into Portland Cement and people screaming. But I didn’t. It was all I could do to keep from turning around and seeing a Pissed Off Magnum PI standing in the doorway glaring at these obnoxious intruders, alternately looking out towards me with my back to him like I didn’t even know he was there. Just like you need a finger to push and test the temperature of a good Steak, you’re going to get tested. This was Terry’s big Test, he was either worth $500 a month to me or he wasn’t….5/2/2013 2:24:58 PM THE SILENCE WAS DEFINING and I couldn’t stand it anymore and I slowly turn around as the biggest “DC” was walking past Terry with his head down staring at his feet. Single file and in unison the length of the large room and back down the hall I could see them and they never looked up staring down at cheap plastic government shower slippers like they were the coolest thing you’d ever seen. I can't believe they have a number online that just rings. I have tried all kinds of times and no one ever answers. Seriously? Why bother giving people a number if it is just a scam. It is sad when you are looking for someone you love and you cant even get an answer.

  19. Yvonne Wed, Aug 07 2013 11:06 PM

I can see how this is going to go now. My husband just arrived there today 8/7/13 he has tried calling me but the deal is I have no idea what phone service they use. I am only guessing that it is still Reliance Phone Service but I am not sure. Does anyone have any idea? Its so hard when you don't even have money to survive on let alone the phone cards. I know a lot of you if not all know what I mean Right! Thanks in advance for any help I can get. Is it the same company no matter what state you are in?

  20. Yvonne Wed, Aug 07 2013 11:09 PM

Sorry about the duplicate message. It said what I had typed in was wrong to try again, and when I did that it did the duplicate. How much fun is this!!

  21. Yvonne Wed, Aug 07 2013 11:16 PM

I also read a post here in regards to the e-mail thing. If you haven't had a chance to read the BOP Site yet I would suggest you might want to. The inmate has to invite you first, then you except then you should be able to communicate. If not there is a section on the BOP where you can get help. I haven't done this yet and I really hope it isn't gonna be a pain in the butt. I wish you all the luck in the world. Oh! No! Its doing it again, where it says verification words are incorrect. I pray for no duplicate however I probably wont get that lucky!
