   BALTIMORE CITY CENTRAL BOOKING IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. THEY DO NOT EVER ANSWER THE PHONES SO TELL ME HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO FIND OUT THE STATUS OF YOUR LOVED ONES. PEOPLE PLEASE JOIN ME BY MAKING DOCUMENTED COMPLAINTS AGAINST THEIR POOR/LACK OF SERVICE OF ANY SORT.

   My Husband was taken in to custody on Friday (6am-7am, it took them abbout 4 hours to process him! I've had to go down there twice to get info as God forbid someone answers a phone!!!! Which they have only done once!!! My husband speaks limited English, very limited, I have a cell so he can't call me collect and they said he can't have visitors until he's moved to the detention center or held in Central Booking for 60 days!!! WTF!?! I'm his victim however there is no reason for this garbage!!! I need some info, I need to know he's okay especially with Hurricane Sandy coming in!!!

   Let me bring you up to date...still no one answers the phones and when they do they have an attitude and some times when you call back you get different answers. Some of the information online is not correct and outdated. It took them 3 weeks to get mail to my son. The system sucks and very frustrating when you are trying to get answers. There is no reason for anyone to be disrepected or mistreated. It's bad enough your loved one is in there living in deplorable conditions. With the state constantly increasing taxes there is no reason Baltimore Central Booking & Intake Center should be in the deplorable condition it is in. These people that work there, are probably underpaid and don't give a shit because the jails are overcrowded and one person can only do so much. My heart goes out to those that have family members or relatives locked up in these facilities. I am thinking about becoming an advocate to represent families to be heard as I have a son in there that was falsely accused and my first experience with the jail system. It can really bring a person down and we all need to ban together and be supportive of each other.
