DO YOU HAVE TO BE MARRIED TO THE INMATE IN ORDER TO SEE HIM???

  3. Arch Thu, Jan 05 2012 5:47 PM

To marissa, http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/tab4_online.html Go to this website and there is a link of offender search. To Dania, you have to be on the list the inmate makes and turns into the Sgt. that's how it works in jail anyway but i've been reading other forums and looks like it's the same here.

  16. Peggy Wed, Jun 12 2013 9:53 AM

J, As long as you know his TDCJ # you can write to him before he writes to you. You can go to the main page on the tdcj Garza website to get his number. He will get the mail. Talking to him on the phone timeframe is he has to be there 90days. Visits are after 30 days First visit is a window visit. Anymore questions you can email me at zenkist@yahoo.com. My husband has been there since Oct 2012. Knock on wood all has been good for him so far. But I know a lot of cheap ways to get money to them. What you can and cannot wear, take in etc... I am creating a website for helping people that had never been through this like we were. I had to learn it all the hard way, but I do a lot of research.

  20. lucy viormat Tue, Jul 16 2013 3:24 AM

Garza west is a pretty tough place to be. Really mean female officers that bitch till your ears burn. My advice is once you find out a loved one is there. Wire money asap even if they already had money. It takes like a month to process all ur funds and you have nothing. But if you wire it it appears instantly. I was there for 45 days and never made a call never bought a thing. Mainly because at first I had money. Then we got put on routine lockdowwn. Suckd big time

  21. Elizabeth Sat, Oct 26 2013 3:38 PM

Thanks for the info Peggy, you already answered one of my questions. My husband just got moved to Garza West last week. What phone system to do they go through? Is it IC Solutions too? I got a letter from him today asking me to set up the phone so he can call me but I don't know and cant find the info anywhere on who to call. He was at Cotulla before, then Bexar County, then to Garza west now and I guess he may be going back to Cotulla sometime. I just want to be able to talk to him as soon as he can call so I want to try to set the phone thing up. Thanks for any help!
