I can't believe I can't send books to my buddy in Orange County Corrections. I called and they told me that books have to be sent "from the publisher or a bookstore" Really? They can't just flip through the book and make sure nothing is in it? I have to order a brand new book I guess.

I was in Orange County Corrections last year. They have a pretty good jail library there, just tell your friend to get some books there unless he really need a specific book.

That policy sucks. And with regard to the library, I doubt the library has Playboy, Penthouse and the like. Or are these not even allowed there?

I hear the inmates can watch TV here as an entertainment option. I was wondering who decides what to watch? It seems like it could lead to a lot of fights and arguments.
