I have been trying all day to find out how to contact an inmate at the leflore county jail and still bupkist. I called the jail twice to ask about their phone policy and was told that I would have to go to the jail and apply for visitation. So then I tried looking for the address to send him a letter before he gets transferred, Lord knows where, but the only address is for the jail itself. Can I use that address to send him a letter? Has anyone else tried to contact a loved one in the leflore county jail?

Duane sweeten is my brother n laws and mu question is why wasn't he transported to the hospital! I am a nurse my self andwas always told when a person. Complains about chest pains to seek medical attention immediately! Not always will your vital signs be elavated" that's why they have heart monitors to detect the reasons that are causing the chest pains! Especially when that person. Has a pace maker already! The jail is not equipt with that device. It. Might have saved his life!

I used to work at the LCDC and as a jailer we had to listen to our LT'S unfortunately most of the newer LT'S were dumb ass stuck up morons that had "connections " in the court house, local as well as county departments the Leflore county board of trustees, District attorneys office you name it they have a friend in it. If us jailers didn't kiss ass or back up the %ickhead LT'S you would be outcast from your crew and treated like crap. Its dirty it has crappy food.
