What is up with Washington County Regional Jail... I live 12 hours away, I have called numerous times to speak with someone, just to get general information on visiting hours, what inmates are allowed to have, where&how to send money for a inmate. And, what correct address to send a letter. I can get more information out of a 3 year old. All, I hear, we can't give out that information. Please explain, why can't you? It's a public/ county building. And, I'm on a speakerphone, that is very unprofessional & very rude. This is what & how our tax money is spent? Looks very bad on Washington County Leaders!!

the washington county location of southwest va regional jails, is the most un-organized location of any jail system in the state. its being run by a buch of rent-a-cops and needs people that know's what they are doing. this jail is a big joke and full of sinfull actions. someone needs to step in and clean this mess up before it really gets bad. the staff is rude and un-friendly and wont let you know anything that goes on and lies to you when you call. you can call and get different answers to your questions each time you call. knowbody knows anything there, they just want the money they are paid and not do anything for it. it seems to be lead by a circus master, because a circus is all it is. changes are needed fast or bad is all that will ever come fromthis location.
