  20. Prison Yo! Sun, Aug 18 2013 10:00 PM

Man I was zapping out in MCI-J,years ago when I was locked up their. Now JCI aka Annex well formely known until they changed the name.JCI is Maximum security and MCI-J is Medium security. All the prisons in hagerstown which their are three of them are Medium security,RCI in hagerstown is Medium 2 prison, meaning close to Max.ECI in Eastern shore is Medium also the Penitentiary in Baltimore City is now Medium security.Brockbrige,BCCC,Central Laundry, are minimum security.

  21. Prison Yo! Sun, Aug 18 2013 10:53 PM

Yeah when the Cut was open ,oh man dudes was getting stab left and right and C.O.s was getting stab and beat. The Annex now known as JCI is as just terrible as the house of correction aka the cut,but JCI is the cut too but it sits outback of the house and when u got into fights in Annex aka JCI ,they moved u too the house and vice versa both are Maximum and house LIFERS!The only difference between the two is one they closed down was a couple hundred years old and falling apart. They had dorms too, they was very dangerous,u would rather be in the cells their because they was single cells.Could u imagine sleeping in a dorm with oover a hundred LIFERS ,YEAH IT WAS TOTAL CHOAS ,MUTHAFUCKAS BEATEN,STABBED,RAPED AND ROBBED ONLY THE STRONGEST SURVIVED.

  22. Mrs B Thu, Aug 22 2013 6:38 AM

Well JCI is not all full of lifers now, they have parole violators, guys doing short sentences, still strung out from the drugs, there bringing in anything and everything, which is causing big problems for the guys who are trying to get there heads down and working towards coming home. There has been mega loads of trouble since they started this a few months back, they need to get them all out and leave the long term guys alone to finish there sentences in peace.

  23. Mrs B Sat, Aug 31 2013 12:03 PM

Does anyone know if JCI is on lock down?

  24. johnson Wed, Sep 04 2013 11:11 AM

As far as I have been calling down JCI and they have been on Lockdown since Friday Aug. 30th and still on lockdown. Does anyone know why they are on lockdown like this??

  25. jo Wed, Sep 04 2013 11:14 AM

When they are on lockdown can they still send and recieve mail????

  26. Mrs B Thu, Sep 05 2013 4:04 AM

They went on lock down on Thursday 29th,we don't know the reason yet. They may have brought forward the yearly big shake down that can last up to 14 days. Yes Jo they do still receive mail and mail should still go out but its alway delayed thats nothing unusal as mail is always delayed and held back. I did get mail two days ago but going by the stamp date it had been held back by 5 days. Hope everyone gets mail and a call soon. As soon as I hear anything I'll let you all know and hope you will do also.

  27. Talulah Mon, Sep 30 2013 4:57 PM

In response to the coward made this post.. 14 anonym Thu, May 16 2013 2:13 PM I hope JCI burns down with all the inmates. we dont need that filth in this world. Yes I realize I am a few months behind but my husband and nephew were recently incarcerated at JCI so I am just noticing this comment. First let me say you are the ignorant filth that consumes our society. Second you are obviously uneducated and do NOT keep up on current events so let me enlighten you.. The Innocence Project, has called it the “Wikipedia of Innocence.” (The registry, which can be viewed at exonerationregistry.org,) currently counts 891 cases since 1989, the year of the first exoneration achieved using DNA. Not all who are incarcerated are guilty. The ones that are guilty are not all bad people they are simply human and have made bad choices. If you think our justice system works then you are just plain dumb! Let me give you an example and I will attach a link so you can read it for yourself, A charles county man admitted to raping molesting and abusing his daughter for more than 5 years his wife was also aware of the abuse and she allowed it to continue. He was sentenced to 22 years ALL SUSPENDED BUT 5 YEARS!!! And yet, a 19yr old boy is sentenced to 2 years for a minor marijuna posession charge.. there are innocent people being put to death by our "awesome" judicial system. Third and final.. when you become divine you are allowed to pass judgement but until that day just remember YOU ARE JUST AS HUMAN AS THE PRISIONER SITTING IN THE JAIL CELL AND I PRAY YOU NEVER MAKE A BAD CHOICE OR HASTY EMOTIONAL DECISION. What a sad little person you are!

  28. Mrs B Thu, Oct 03 2013 10:41 AM

Talulah Thank you so very much for your post I agree 110% on every word you said. Some idiots do not have a clue to what happens in other peoples lives that makes then end up in prison, all I can say is not every inmate it guilty. Ignorant, rude, stupid people should learn to keep there mouths shut because at the blink of an eye there life could change and they'll be the one sharing a cell. I hope your husband and nephew are doing alright in JCI. Take Care...

  29. john Sun, Oct 20 2013 2:16 PM

I heard certain parts of JCI are on lock down.....

  30. Mrs B Sat, Oct 26 2013 8:11 AM

Yeah John one building was on lock down not sure if it still is though. The usual gang stuff.....

  31. Mrs B Sat, Oct 10 2015 9:46 AM

Does anyone know why JCI is on lockdown?

  32. JBsWife Mon, Oct 12 2015 4:37 PM

Does anyone know why JCI is on lockdown?! Called up because wanted to go visit and the guy told me they have been on lockdown since Thursday and should try back maybe Wednesday... But visits are closed Tuesday & Wednesday... So now have to wait until least Thursday but visit on Friday.. Etc. I'm so confused. WTH is going on???? Ugh.

  33. Mrs.IRNCR2015 Mon, Oct 12 2015 9:55 PM

Don't know what's going on. I was just @ JCI on Thursday for a visit went back Friday it was lockdown. I flew in from out of state, so I am pissed. I was told the middle of next week. They play too much, life of a wife of JCI.

  34. WorriedWife Tue, Oct 13 2015 10:13 PM

as of 8:17pm JCI still on lockdown. was told to call back tomorrow and check and see if it's lifted or not... ugh I'm hoping everything is okay there and no one is hurt or anything... if anyone knows of any info please share... thank you dearly...
