Navajo County Jail now offers Inmate Sales Tablets to their inmates.


Inmate Sales also handles inmate phone systems, video visitations, email and texting (they call it chirping) and digital letters.

The tablets can be rented on a monthly basis (or are given to the inmate use for a limited time) and while not directly connected to the internet, the inmates can use them for the following activities:

Here's how it works:

  • Register here.  It is recommended you use Chrome or Firefox.
  • You get charged a full month even if it's only used for a partial month.
  • No activation or early termination fees.
  • Your inmate will recieve their tablet in 3-5 business days, after you pay.

How to Send a Secure Email Message to an Inmate in Navajo County

To send a secure email message to an inmate in Navajo County Jail follow these steps:

  • Register with Inmate Sales, the company that handles inmate messaging in Navajo County, by creating an account.
  • Select Arizona, then select Navajo County Jail, and then the inmate you want to send your message to.
  • Choose the amount of money you want to spend, and input your payment method. The funds can also be used by the inmate to send a message back to you.
  • If you want to pay by phone, call 877-998-5678.
  • NOTE: All messages between you and your inmate will be permanently recorded and seen by the staff and could be used against your inmate in court.

How to visit an inmate in Navajo County Arizona using Remote Video Visitation 

To visit an inmate in Navajo County follow these steps:

  • In addition to visiting inmates at the jail, Navajo County Jail uses a video visitation service called JailATM.
  • In order to visit with your inmate online or at the Navajo County Jail Video Kiosk, you must first register with JailATM.
  • Once you register, choose the option for 'Video Calls' or Video Visits and you will be prompted for the information required, which will include copies of your state issued ID and more. 
  • Note: While JailATM also offers the following inmate services, Navajo County Jail may or may not allow all of them. Check on the JailATM website to confirm.

    1.  You Can Send Money
         Navajo County Jail may have an agreement with JailATM so that you can deposit money online or using the kiosk in the Navajo County Jail lobby.
