The Yavapai County Jail - Camp Verde Detention Center, located in the city of Campe Verde, in Yavapai County, Arizona is a medium to maximum-security facility.

If your inmate received PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION while in custody at the Yavapai County Detention facility, BEFORE they are released they need to ask the Detention Officer to notify Medical Services.

If they are released without their prescription medication, they can call WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RELEASE, to make arrangements to obtain their medication. Call (928) 567-7734 and ask for the infirmary.

Note: NO Narcotics or over the counter medication will be provided after their release.

RELEASE ASSISTANCE

The Yavapai County Jail has put together a handbook of resources to help recently released inmates get back on their feet.  The booklet contains everything from how to get their IDs, get a job, find housing, get counseling... all geared to men and women getting out of jail or prison and all focused on the Yavapai County area.  It is highly recommended that all inmates re-entering the 'real world' have a copy and read it.

Convicted and Sentenced Inmates
When an inmate is convicted and sentenced to a year or more, they are transferred to the Arizona State Prison System or the Federal Bureau of Prisons.  

Inmates that are convicted of a misdemeanor and/or sentenced to less than one year of a state crime serve their time in the jail. 

Illegal immigrants convicted of a state or federal crime will first do their time, then may be transferred into ICE custody for deportation.
