Register with Securus and wait 24 hours to get an email letting you know how to schedule visits.
Have your device (Computer, wifi etc.) turned on and be logged on for the visit three minutes prior to your visitation start. The visit starts exactly on time so if you are late logging in you will miss part of that visitation time.
Anyone over 18 who properly opens an account with SecurusTech.net receives the welcome email and schedules a visit may visit with an inmate. You may have as many people as you wish attend the visit if it is an at-home visit. Up to three may attend if it is an on-site video visit.
If there is a no contact order in place between the inmate and anyone who attends the visit, the visitor, the inmate or both could face legal problems if they are discovered violating that order.
Collier County Jail - Immokalee Center only requires that you open an account through SecurusTech.net and register so that you can schedule visits. All visits are video visits.
Seven days a week.
Visits are 20 minutes each. You may sign up for as many visits as you wish, however, back-to-back visits are not encouraged due to the number of people who wish to schedule visits on the system as well.
There is no limit to the number of people who can attend an at-home-video visit. If you choose to come to the jail and use one of the two monitors there, you should not have more than two visit.
If using a computer at a public library please be the only visitor.
The Collier County Jail - Immokalee Center cannot tell people what to wear at an at-home-video visit, however, keep in mind that the visits are recorded and periodically monitored. If you or another visitor dresses inappropriately, such as see-through material, clothing promoting drugs, violence etc. the jail has the ability to block access for that account for future visits.
Any nudity or inappropriate behavior during the visit by the inmate or a visitor will receive the same result.
Jail visits are conducted on a televised screen/computer monitor from another location.
At-home-visits have fees associated with them, however, the jail periodically runs specials during which the first six visits using a monitor at the jail are free.
You can call the jail to see if that special is currently being offered.
The free visits must be conducted using the monitors in the jail lobby, not on any other device or from any other location.
Visitation is a privilege, not a right. If you or the inmate conduct yourselves not consistent with the security of the jail and safety of inmates and the public, your log-on information and ISP will be blocked from any future visits.
This jail has moved to 100 percent “at-home-visitation” through SecurusTech.net.
