Arrive 10 minutes before visitation to check in.

Step 3

Produce a government-issued, valid photo ID.



Who Can Visit an Inmate in Butler County Maximum Security Jail

Anyone over the age of 18 who is on the inmate’s approved visitation list and can show a proper ID may visit an inmate at this facility.

Children under the age of 18 may visit as long as they are with an approved visitor who can show a proper ID. Children do not have to be on the visitation list nor do they have to show ID.

If the staff suspects an adult not on the visitation approved list is trying to visit an inmate by claiming to be a minor, everyone in the visit will be refused and asked to leave the premises.
