Spartanburg police are investigating after a church was broken into through a roof vent. A keyboard, a stand and an amp were stolen, according to an incident report.
At 10:12 a.m. Sunday, police went to Body Builders Christian Ministry on Union Street in reference to a burglary, the report stated. When they arrived, they spoke to a man who said he got to the church at about 9:30 that morning and found music equipment missing. The man said he also found several ceiling tiles had fallen on the floor.
Police went on to the roof of the building and found and open vent they determined was used to break into the church, the report stated. Police also found a ladder they believed was used to get onto the roof.
