   Inmate mailing address for this facility: Inmates name PO Box 2601 Athens, Tx 75751 You must open an account with Infinity Network (866-681-2948) deposit money into the account, also the pin # that inmate will use, for inmate to call. You will have to mail the inmate the calling instructions & pin #. Initial deposit for commissary funds can be done using a kiosk (reverse ATM) at the jail or going to a Moneygram location. I was unable to find a way of doing this via phone or Internet. Hope this is helpful information.

   There are really bad and rude people that work at this jail. I am a truck driver broke down and no way to get to see or talk to my fiancee that was locked up while I am out on the road. I have called and they will not let me talk to her to find out if she is ok.

   How the hell do you put money on a defendant's books? Your website could be drastically improved and simplified. It looks like it was designed by a high school student struggling for extra credit.

   fuck Henderson county jail i just got out and will not allow me and two others access to a law library that is a violation of our civil right also for the people who does not have anyone puttin money on there books they are miserable i would give my two year brother bigger meals then what they serve my name is james r lawrence

   This hardly answers my questions. A freakin handbook would be to much trouble ay? This page doesnt have enough blogs, and is basically made for nosey rosie and Johnny rubbernecker. Jails very when it comes to inmates rules, what they are allowed to have if anything, do they get to make calls in this facility, and do they need calling cards? Are they allowed to have photoes of loved ones/ friends? How much commisary do they need to have,and what items are offerd in commisary? Just because someone has been charged with a crime does not mean they are guilty. And it might surprize you that some may end up in jail who has never been subjected to the system before or have they family members. There are lots of visitors who have never themselves been to jail as an inmate or visitor. I understand that this is JAIL but you'd think the rules would be more accesable to people.

   I have a young son in jail who has an abcessed tooth and when I visited him he looked bad! his face was all swoll up and was in pain. He said all they give is one 200mg iburofen. This infection can get into the blood steam and cause sepsis, whitch can be fatal if untreated. I am poor and bareley able to put money on his books every week. He says its around 100 bucks to see a dr!!! What? So the county conciders him expendable? he has never been in any trouble and has not even been convicted of the crime he was indicted for! I think this matter needs atten NOW! And I will look into it!

   Horace Joe Barker is a innocence man. Two trials, both racial. Where was witnesses for the defendant, where was the evidence and he was cleared by CPS. Is it possible this victim was born with herpes and her brother. Why her mother didn't testify? Why wasn't her past question. A lot of unanswered question for the defendant. Life without parole, come on now. Why was the first trial victim didn't tell the truth? Why did her assailant walk free. Innocence until proven guilty. In this case Innocence was over looked. No Justice when you is BLACK in Athens Texas.

    First time at Henderson County jail today. Not impressed with anything. Guards are MEAN to the inmates,they are rude and don't give a shit about the inmates. They must have forgotten their name ISN'T GOD. Our taxes take care of their paychecks. Wish I could be a guard there for one of their family members. HEY, HENDERSON COUNTY PUKS, GO GET LAID. Athens is nasty!
