With the pandemic over, the Oswego County Correctional Facility is once again having in-person visits, in adition to the video visits.

Scheduling a Visit

• To schedule a visit, call Jail Reception at 315-349-3346 between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.
• You can only schedule one visit at a time, and the visit must be scheduled one day in advance.
• If you jhave to cancel, call and let them know. If you miss three visits without cancelling, you may be suspendd from future visits.
• NOTE: Visitation is on the following major holidays:  4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

The Visit

• Sign in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit or you will be denied access.
• Inmates are allowed one visit per day, two times a week.
• There is a limit of two people at each visit.
• If you are on probation or parole, you need approval from the jail.
• You must have a government issued photo ID that is valid.
• Children under the age of 16 need an original Birth Certificate with an official raised seal and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Kids age 16 & 17 need a picture ID AND a Juvenile Permission form signed by a parent or legal guardian in the presence of a Corrections Officer or employee. Juvenile permission forms may be completed at home and notarized before a Notary Public.
• You must wear non-revealing clothing, non-seductive and professional. If you don't, your visit may be denied. No jewelry.
• A BRIEF kiss will be allowed at the beginning and end of your visit.
• Inmates cannot hold children.
