hi.If we as american preach that we should never be abusive and put torture on other human being, why is it that we place a person so jong in a isolated small box for years? Are we hipocrates, or control freaks? And why are prisoners being setup by deputies? What is wrong with our world? Put God in America as our fore fathers did.

  2. Kandi Fri, Mar 18 2011 6:55 AM

Omg, I don't believe your saying that I'm a loving parent who is fighting the system now; because my son has been set up by the C.O. at his facility. He was due to come home in May and they found him guilty and gave him 6months in the box. My heart is broken in a million pieces. I'm trying to locate any help possible to help my son!

  3. RIIIIIIIIIIIght Tue, Apr 09 2013 10:20 PM

yeah ok set up,i'm sure he says he was.And as a mother you believe him but if he's in the box for 6 months theres a reason, you think the CO picked your son out of everyone else to pick on?i'm sorry but your son most likely did somthing to be put in the box for 6 months

  4. sha Mon, Apr 15 2013 1:41 PM

I want to know why I sent an inmate a money order and he claims he never received it

  5. Sarah Bland Fri, May 31 2013 9:52 AM

There is alot of corruption in the NYS prison system, with some (not all) co's on a power trip. 6 months in the box is ABUSE, and not in any way a "reasonable" punishment, regardless. I'm sure you are doing everything possible to assist him, but also try to find a Prison Families Anonymous Group and write to your congressman and senators...try to get the news involved, as an OUTSIDE investigation needs to be done...NOT one done by other staff at the facility, which would be tainted anyway. Pray alot. I'm so sorry.

  6. Justice Wed, Jun 05 2013 8:09 AM

This facility is a very racist facility. CO's setup a lot of inmates and of course they don't believe the inmates because they use manipulation so that they won't file grievances against the CO's. As a former USN Sailor and soon to be lawyer. I will do whatever it takes to make sure those inmates receive justice. CO's are scumbags, not all but most. They deserve to be exposed.

  7. Justice Wed, Jun 05 2013 8:11 AM

If justice isn't served for those who deserve it than after a while some of these CO's won't be showing up to work. Threat and Promise...

how do you send a letter to someone over there

  11. JJ Thu, Dec 19 2013 12:28 AM

I just got home from greene, its straight out of a movie with evil prison guards. They consistantly plant weapons on inmates that they dont like and brutally beat others. I witnessed a c.o. Kick another inmate untill he broke his ribs and fractured his eye socket because he wouldent tell him who he had a fight with earlier in the day. After he was injured badly he told and they pressed charges on another inmate saying he did it. You cant file grevences while you are in there because you will not be safe from them. They openly threaten to plant weapons on inmates and they are not bluffing. Even seargents and leutenants do it.

  12. JJ Thu, Dec 19 2013 12:38 AM

If anyone would like to know more about the incredible injustices that go on in greene just post. I was just released less than a week ago. The random beating storys are all true. Certain COs do this every day. They make a game about it.

  13. Gold Mon, Jan 06 2014 4:06 PM

MY husband is in Greene.. he tells me alot that goes on in there. and i dont think its right that CO's are doing this to inmates . regardless of what they did or why they are in there. that is no way to treat a human being . im scared that they are not going to let him go home on good time and make him do his full sentence without him being able to be eligible to do Parole. cause i will be heartbroken . someone needs to change how the system is and NOT let CO's be allowed to treat inmates how they do.. its just wrong .. - My Thought

  14. Travis Tue, Mar 04 2014 1:50 AM

I was in Greene Correctional Facility for 6 Months I went to the box for 3 months for something I honestly got set up for by a C.O. I am a 21 year old male I was 19 when this happened... I am a really good kid, really smart and very well educated, I was in for something a few of my friends did and I went with them and I got my youthful offender status, the C.O.'s in this prison are so much worse than the inmates.. I pray for the people I know that are not bad guys.. They are being abused everyday.. Something HAS to change

  15. Travis again Tue, Mar 04 2014 1:57 AM

I also wanted to say, I was beaten up by C.O.'s 4 times and I only received one ticket.. that was the set up ticket.. these cops are cruel I hope all your loved ones are ok.. I know I WAS NOT... I saw inmates get so badly beaten.. I saw a guy get his whole HEAD SPLIT OPEN AND A C.O. LAUGH... I watched the L2 Dorm officer STOMP A KID IN THE FACE 12 TIMES.. I sware to god all I'm saying is true.. they gave the kid a year in the box for assaulting a c.o. .... how is any of this fair?

  16. Heartbroken Sat, Dec 06 2014 9:55 AM

So how come none of you people are not protesting against cowards bastard CO's. Let's do it. the whole world is doing it for Eric Gardner. CO's are cowards, who beat up on young kids, yet these same CO's would not dare look in the direction of the inmates if they were out of their uniform or on the outside.

  17. Mother Sat, Dec 06 2014 10:03 AM

LET's HAVE A STATEWIDE PROTEST AGAINST CO's AND POLICE BRUTALITY

  18. crazzze Fri, Sep 16 2016 6:52 PM

God BLess my 20 year old nephew if they touch him I will kill them.....
