Well, the jailEx raiting on Muhlenberg County Dentention center explains why they never responded to my E-mail. It would also help in knowing what can I send to my family? When are their court dates? Is my Father getting his medications? Does he see a doctor regularily? I do know people have been found dead in their cells for unknown medical reasons, and that I cannot send him them phone cards and that they make them purchase them from there at 10 bucks a pop that is only good for 2 phone calls and that I could not evan send my Father a birthday card. So thamk you for justifying my suspicions. LW

It is outrageous to me how this jail works, i'm sure like all others. it is crazy that an inmate has to pay so much money for their commissary and medical needs. This is not only a racket but it is abuse of power. I cannot send my loved one anything at all to help them make their stay a little better. The state should be ashamed of themselves that they force families to make such financial sacrifices for their loved ones. So this leads me to ask exactly what do my tax dollars pay for? The inmates don't need rehabilitation, the system does. Never mind the filth in the jail is a health threat to those that are in there and go visit them.

hey, here's a thought... These people are in jail. Not paying for a stay at the dang Hilton! Get over it. They screwed up and deserve what they get for it. They don't deserve luxuries and what not. As far as I'm concerned, they shouldn't have blankets or even beds. They shouldn't be comfortable at all. Maybe they'll think twice before committing any more crimes. You people crack me up.

Also, the state has nothing to be ashamed of. The people serving time should be the ones ashamed. This jail isn't bad at all. I know people who have been in it, and I have also toured it. Never actually been an inmate, I'm not that stupid.

Why can't you see the list of inmates on here

I'm sure it's because if all the arrests they are making right now. I'm sure it will be back up after its all said and done. New sheriff has done a better job in this county than anyone we have ever had ! He's really cleaning it up ! I know it makes me feel safer about living here. Thanks sheriff McGhee!

They aren't disclosing all of the offenders identities because they don't want anyone to find out who the informant is.
