It is at this jail that all of the misdemeanor and felony arrests will be processed and offenders from West Baton Rouge Parish will remain in West Baton Rouge Parish Detention Center as they await their trial and during a short sentence, or as they wait for transfer to another location including the Transitional Work Facility.
