Butler County Juvenile Detention Center houses 66 beds for youth who are charged with delinquency or unruly charges and provides a safe and protected space for short term care. They are provided with space to sleep and exercise and access to daily programming. Education is provided by the local school distrcit, religious programs are offered, counselling and behavioral health services are provided. Each is focused on assisting those who are serving a sentence, awaiting trial, or waiting to be transferred to be better prepared for life when they leave than when they arrived.
