During incarceration at the Lorain County Juvenile Detention facility each student is required to attend regular classes in the facility. This ensures that they do not fall behind in school while they are serving a sentence or attending rehabilitation programming. Main courses are all delivered with appropriate technology and computer labs are present within the building for the use of students during class time and for homework purposes. They attend school for five hours each day to receive the correct number of educational hours. The facility was created to house up to 44 male inmates and 12 female inmates within separate wings of the building.
