3. Bond in Collier County

Collier is part of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. Within 24 hours of arrest, a judge decides release terms at first appearance:

  • Recognizance, meaning freedom with nothing paid.
  • Cash, all of it; after the case the clerk returns it, less costs.
  • A bondsman's surety, priced at 10 percent and never below $100 per charge, which the bondsman keeps.

Paying won't free someone Lee County wants, or someone with a probation hold. Not showing up for court brings a capias. See our Collier bail page.

4. Is an Immokalee warrant arrest booked on Tamiami Trail East?

Usually. A warrant stop in Immokalee, Golden Gate or on Marco Island ends with booking at the jail center on Tamiami Trail East. The Sheriff's Office, 239-252-9300, has jail staff who track every booking. The clerk's online case search shows the case and flags a capias. FDLE's statewide wanted roster lists warrants from other agencies. When the warrant is yours, defense counsel can schedule your surrender, and the clerk in Suite 102 can give you a new date. Carry photo ID when you go.
