Back to questions ↑3. Bond in Tavares
Lake is in the Fifth Judicial Circuit. A judge holds first appearance inside 24 hours:
- ROR: no money down.
- Cash: every dollar of the bond, which the clerk refunds after the case, keeping costs.

For your own warrant, a defense attorney can walk you across from the courthouse to surrender, and the clerk can set a new date. Visits and video calls are scheduled online through the jail.
