It is at this location that all of the offenders arrested on misdemeanor or felony charges throughout McDonough County will be held as they await their trial, bail, or as they serve a sentence.

Phones that are located in the housing units are able to make outgoing calls only, without the ability to accept incoming calls.
Visits are scheduled for twice each week for up to 30 minutes, though these can be separated into 15 minute intervals if there are two different visitors using them. Female inmates are Saturday 8am-9am and 10am-11am on Wednesday, while males have visits Saturday 9am-12pm and Wednesday 8am-10am. Only those on the approved visiting list created by the inmate will be able to schedule a visit, and during the visit they may leave personal items limited to paperback books, crossword or wordsearch books, or a money order for their inmate account.
