About the Washington County Jail
The Washington County Jail in Kansas was built in 1925 with a capacity for 72 inmates. However, this may have changed over time. The jail provides visitation hours on Thursdays through Sundays by appointment only. The Washington County Sheriff's Office is responsible for law enforcement for the entire county, which covers 900 square miles. It is important to note that the Washington Correctional Facility, which is a medium security level state prison, is located in Comstock, Kansas, and is not the same as the Washington County Jail. The Washington County Jail in Kansas is located at 301 B Street, Washington, KS, 66968. The contact number for the jail is 785-325-2293. Visitation hours at the Washington County Jail in Kansas are Thursday through Sunday by appointment only from 2 pm to 4 pm.
