The jail roster shows who is booked in Marion, and the mugshot section below explains photo requests; VINELink and KYeCourts guest access track custody and court.

Where are inmates held?

They are held at the Crittenden County Detention Center on West Carlisle Street in Marion, the county's own jail. Arrests from anywhere in the county are booked there. Call 270-965-3185. For a very recent booking, the sheriff (270-965-3400) may know more before the roster updates. Either office will ask for a name and birthday. Federal prisoners make up much of its population. The state's weekly report for Oct. 22, 2026, counted 123 people in 133 beds, 71 of them held for federal agencies, while the jail's 39-bed restricted custody center for state inmates had 23.

Yes, on request. Put an open records request on paper to the detention center, naming the person, the booking date and the mugshot. News media ask the jail or the sheriff through that process too.
