• All visitors must be preapproved by the BCSO for admittance to the BCCF.
• A completed Request to Visit Inmate form must be submitted to the BCSO for approval. Forms may be obtained by stopping by the Visits Office at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility. Inmates have forms available to mail out to their friends and family as well.
• All visitors must be registered with a BCSO visits officer at least 15 minutes prior to the start of visiting hour.
• All inmates are allowed two (2) visits per day during their allotted visit times. This does not include attorneys, clergy, etc.
• No visitors may visit the same inmate twice during the same day.
• All regular visits are restricted to a one (1) hour period.
• Visits are scheduled by the housing unit (POD) where inmate resides.
• Minors under the age of 18 are allowed to visit their parent, step-parent, grandparent, legal guardian or sibling once the adult accompanying them has submitted a Visit Request Form and been approved by the BCSO.
• Christmas and Thanksgiving Day visits follow the separate visitation schedule listed below.

Barnstable County Correctional Facility uses Securus Video Connect for Remote Inmate Video Visitation. 

Video Visitation allows 'approved' friends, family members, attorneys and clergy of an inmate to connect with them using their computer, Securus Video Visitation app, or ‘on-site’ kiosk.

What is the Cost of a Remote Video Visit?
Costs vary and are subject to change, but generally visits range from $5.00 to $15.00 for a 15 to 30 minute online or on-site video visit.

How do you know if your Inmate will be available during the time you schedule?
The Securus system knows the times that Barnstable County Correctional Facility inmates are available for remote video visits.
