Every detail on this page is checked by hand, not scraped. This unofficial directory helps friends and family of incarcerated individuals find critical information — inmate lists, locations, bail resources, visitation hours, rules, and text, phone, email, and mail services — for jails, detention centers, and prisons across the United States.
You can reach the 90-bed Nobles County Jail day or night at 507-295-5290 with questions about an inmate.

See who is currently in custody by searching the roster with the inmate search tool.
Inmates who are sentenced to less than one year serve their sentence here in the county. Those who get a longer sentence go to the Minnesota State Prison System or the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Everything you need to stay in contact is on this page, including the visitation schedule, how to fund an inmate’s account, send mail, receive phone calls, use voicemail, email and text, rent a tablet, post bail, and order commissary.

All of the necessary care is provided to inmates, including meals, laundry, clothing, bedding, a clean place to sleep, showers and hygiene supplies, full medical care and mental health care. In addition to the available mental health care, inmates are encouraged to maintain contact with those who will support them after they are released, as this improves mental health of both the family and the inmate, and in turn the jail remains safer for both inmates and staff.
Contact may be maintained through mail, accepting phone calls, and attending visits when possible, as well as the additional support of adding money to their accounts for commissary, phone, and other purchases.
Money may be added to the account of an inmate through the online portal or by taking a money order to the jail itself, or finally by accessing the kiosk in the lobby of the Nobles County Jail to pay with cash or credit card.
Staff are unable to take messages for inmates and the phones in housing units do not accept incoming calls, so to leave a message there is a message line 507-407-2017.

After being arrested, the offender is brought to the Nobles County Jail for booking, which is the detailed process of identifying, classifying, deciding on charges, and whether the person will either be released on their own recognizance, allowed to be released on bail, or moved into the jail until their court date.
The first thing every newly arrested person must do is close their mouth. Everything an offender says may be used against them, so the best thing to do is remain silent when questioned about the arrest and what led to it.
These are the steps of booking someone into the Nobles County Jail:
Booking can take as little as an hour, or up to 48 hours on a busy weekend or holiday evening, or if the offender is violent, wasted or generally uncooperative. If you have any questions about when you can pay an offender's bond and what the cost will be, call the facility at 507-295-5290.
When an offender is arrested and brought to the Nobles County Jail in Worthington for booking, there are several outcomes after being processed.
1. The offender will be released with no bail, promising to return on a specific date to appear before a judge in either Municipal or Nobles County Court.
2. The offender is ordered to remain in jail until their court date.
3. The offender is allowed to be released after paying a specified bond or bail. Call 507-295-5290 to get the exact amount.
The payment of an offender's bail or bond can take many shapes.

Option 1 - Dropping Money at the Jail
Bring money to the jail in person.
Either the jail personnel will process the Inmate Account payment or you will use a Jail ATM self-serve kiosk in the lobbies that accepts cash, debit or credit cards.
Option 2 - Deposit Inmate Money Online
Nobles County Jail uses Jail ATM to process all online deposits to an inmate's account. The company charges you a small fee for doing so, but the fee probably isn't as much as gas and parking would cost to take it to the jail in person.
Option 3 - Mail the Inmate Deposit to the Jail
Mailing a deposit takes more time to process than the other methods but can be done if you live too far away to bring it in person and you don't have a debit/credit card for online deposits. Never send cash. Always send a Money Order from the US Post Office, a reputable bank or Western Union. Call the Nobles County Jail first as they may want you to do this online or at the jail kiosk instead.
Make the Money Order out to the inmate's name and put their Inmate ID# in memo section of the Money Order.
