About the Dawson County Jail
The Dawson County Jail in Montana has a capacity of more than 144 inmates. It is a regional minimum security jail that houses state and federal inmates, as well as some state-sentenced criminals. It was built in 1997. The monthly average of total bookings in Dawson County Regional Prison is around 218-224 inmates. The jail was built in 1997 and can hold more than 144 inmates at any given time. Inmates can have up to a one-hour visit every week, and the visitation schedule can change without much advance notice. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by the parent or legal guardian. Visitors to the jail may be required to submit to a background check, and those with warrants are denied visitation.

•    Visitors under the age of 17 must be accompanied and supervised by an authorized adult visitor.
•    Visitors who 'arrive' after the scheduled start time may not be allowed to visit.
•    Clothing must cover all private/sensitive body areas.
•    The visitation schedule may be canceled or altered on holidays or for safety/security reasons.
•    Dawson County Jail can disconnect, deny, change, or cancel a visit at any time.
•    Internet connectivity issues during offsite visits will NOT be refunded.
•    Each visitation session will show a timer to display elapsed time.
•    After your visit has ended your connection will be terminated automatically.
