About the Cuyahoga Falls City Jail
Located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, the Cuyahoga Falls City Jail is used for all of the local arrests and booking procedures. This facility also conducts background checks, criminal record checks, and includes all necessary details in the inmate locator programs for online searches. It is located with the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department and shares the same address. It functions as a small holding facility where those who are arrested are processed and booked, then they are transferred to a local jail that is larger with more programs and capabilities to provide care for detainees. Capacity is only 22 male and 9 female offenders, and they are only held in the location for 93 hours. Inmates can make outgoing calls during their stay; however incoming calls are not accepted. Due to the short time, they are in the facility there often is not time for mail to arrive or for visits to be scheduled and carried out. Where visits are allowed they can have up to 3 adults and 2 children visit at one time for a short amount of time. Each visitor must be preapproved. Accessed through securustech.net, account must be made by each visitor and visits booked through that system. Inmates will be given one free visit each week online and can access this at videovisitanywhere.com.

How Does an Inmate Make Phone Calls in Cuyahoga Falls City Jail?

To receive phone calls from an inmate in Summit County follow these instructions:

Cuyahoga Falls City Jail uses the services of NCIC for inmate phone calling. It is called a ‘friends & family account”.

In order to receive phone calls from your inmate, you need to do the following:

  • Register here, or by phone 800-943-2189
  • Choose Ohio.
  • Choose Cuyahoga Falls City Jail
  • Select your Inmate.
  • Enter the phone number your Inmate will be calling.
  • Fund your Account. ($10-$100 at a time)

NOTE:
1.   You cannot receive any calls to your phone number from your inmate until both you and your phone number are registered.
2.  When you do receive a call, the number you will view on your phone from the incoming call is: 800-943-2189.
3.  When allowed by Cuyahoga Falls City Jail, families can also leave secure voicemails for inmates to listen to.
