About the Osage County Detention Center
Osage County Detention Center is under the direct supervision of the jail administrator. This administrator is responsible for the detention center, the extraditions unit, criminal investigations involving the inmates, the deputy, and the special operations team. In order to keep the center orderly and organized, to promote health and safety, and to best meet the needs of all inmates there is a focus on rules and regulations and programs available to assist inmates in avoiding a return to jail in the future. Both phone services and video visitations are provided through City Tele Coin (citytelecoin.com), as well as the deposits for the commissary. Friends and family may add money to any of these accounts through the website, once an account has been registered. Phone calls are outgoing only, and the inmates may call their loved ones but there are no incoming calls directed to the inmates. All visits are done thorough video, however the standard rules still apply in regards to dress code, the length of the visits, limits to one visit each week, and monitoring of all visits. VIsits occur Monday to Friday and between the hours of 9am and 3pm. Each of these rules is in place to provide a safe space for both inmates and staff, as well as visitors. If you do not wish to receive calls from an inmate your number may be placed on a restricted list and they will be unable to call the number from within the jail.

Inmate Money Accounts

How Do You Deposit Money for an Inmate in the Osage County Detention Center?

There are FOUR options for putting money on an inmate's books:

Option 1 - Dropping Money at the Jail
Bring money to the jail in person.
Either the jail personnel will process the Inmate Account payment or you will use a Jail ATM self-serve kiosk in the lobbies that accepts cash, debit or credit cards.

Option 2 - Deposit Inmate Money Online
Osage County Detention Center uses Jail ATM to process all online deposits to an inmate's account. The company charges you a small fee for doing so, but the fee probably isn't as much as gas and parking would cost to take it to the jail in person.

Option 3 - Mail the Inmate Deposit to the Jail
Mailing a deposit takes more time to process than the other methods but can be done if you live too far away to bring it in person and you don't have a debit/credit card for online deposits. Never send cash. Always send a Money Order from the US Post Office, a reputable bank or Western Union. Call the Osage County Detention Center first as they may want you to do this online or at the jail kiosk instead.
Make the Money Order out to the inmate's name and put their Inmate ID# in memo section of the Money Order.
