About the Texas County Jail
The Texas County Jail is located in Guymon, Oklahoma. It was built in 1954 and has a capacity of 96 inmates. Each inmate is provided with space to sleep, space to eat, three meals each day, and their other basic needs are met. Clothing is provided by the jail, though long sentences or those in need of maximum security are transferred to other locations. In addition to the online inmate roster helping friends and families find their loved ones after an arrest, there is an app that can be downloaded to a cell phone that offers updates on inmates to their phones. This app can notify of transfers and releases, useful for both victims of crimes and the families of inmates. Visits have been moved to video, and each inmate can have 2 visits each week, of 45 minutes each. Visits are conducted via video, and can be accessed through ncic.com. VIsits via video remotely can occur anytime during the day, most often 7:30am until 9pm, thought they are available later in some cases, with each inmate having their own availability within those hours based on what jobs or classes they are taking. All visitors must be approved in advance and must book their visit time during the visiting hours. Both visits and phone calls are monitored for content, and mail is checked for contraband and conversations of illegal activities. During incarceration inmates may pursue a GED, learn anger management skills, work within the jail on cleaning and meal service, as ways to fill time and help build skills for success after release. Inmates each have a monetary account for purchases while they are incarcerated and deposits to this account can be made at the kiosk within the lobby of the jail or through inmatedeposits.com.

Inmate Money Accounts

How Do You Deposit Money for an Inmate in the Texas County Jail?

There are three choices for putting money on an inmate's books:

Choice 1 - Dropping Money at the Jail

Bring money to the jail in person.

Jail personnel will process the Inmate Account payment.

Texas County Jail has a Tiger Kiosk in the Lobby that accepts cash, debit or credit cards.

If you can't get your questions answered online call the Texas County Jail at .

Choice 2 - Deposit Inmate Money Online

Texas County Jail and others often use a private company to process all online deposits to an inmate's account. The company charges you a small fee for doing so, but the fee probably isn't as much as gas and parking would cost to take it to the jail in person.

Go to the online site for depositing funds. You will need to register an account, which is free to do and use a debit/credit card for the deposits.

Choice 3 - Mail the Inmate Deposit to the Jail

Mailing a deposit takes more time to process than the other methods but can be done if you live too far away to bring it in person and you don't have a debit/credit card for online deposits. Never send cash. Always send a Money Order from the US Post Office, a reputable bank or Western Union.

Make the Money Order out to the inmate's name and put their Inmate ID# in memo section of the Money Order.

Call Texas County Jail at to confirm the address to send the money order to and how they want it made out.

Failure to do this properly will delay your inmate getting his account credited and may require you to have to resubmit a second money order.

Call to ask facility personnel who to make the money order out to, and where to send it.
