About the Wagoner County Jail

Wagoner County Jail is providing care and housing for inmates of all ages, needs, and security levels for newly arrested people, those who are awaiting bail or trial, and people who are serving a sentence within the city of Wagoner as well as the surrounding county. Though the facility has had struggles in the past with overcrowding, make shift separations for female and juvenile inmates, and outdated kitchen equipment, recent changes have addressed several of the issues.

Without a local juvenile facility this location also accepts youth offenders, and uses the minimum security pod to do so. In this instance the inmates who were in the low security area are moved to the medium security section of the building, and windows between the male pods and areas are blocked from view by use of temporary measures. At no time are female or juvenile inmates allowed to be in contact or in plain sight of each other of the male inmates.

Updates to the kitchen allow safe and healthy meals to be supplied to each inmate every day, and they are also provided with access to phones, mail, and visits. Both phone calls and visits are provided through CityTeleCoin, and can be funded and supported through citytelecoin.com, with no set visiting hours an inmate can make a call or video call during their daytime hours, when they are not on lockdown, which can be anywhere from 7am until 9pm, as well as vary depending upon classes, jobs, and tasks. Commissary accounts are funded through tigercommissary.com. Strict rules exist around these events and items, with mail being checked for contraband upon entry ot the facility, visitors may be checked for contraband including weapons before being admitted, and all phone calls and visits are monitored. These measures help to keep the jail safe for everyone.

Mail can be received every day and is processed and passed to the inmates quickly, however the jail uses a digital service to avoid contraband entering the facility. Friends and family of inmates in the Wagoner County Jail can arrange to visit inmates by video, both at the jail and remotely from home. They can also send them money and buy them commissary online, and set up a phone account that allows the inmates to call them during the day and evening seven days a week.

All the information on these inmate services can be found in the sections below.  If you still have questions, you can phone the jail 24 hours a day by calling 918-485-3124.

Inmate Money Accounts

How Do You Deposit Money for an Inmate in the Wagoner County Jail?

There are three choices for putting money on an inmate's books:

Choice 1 - Dropping Money at the Jail

Bring money to the jail in person.

Jail personnel will process the Inmate Account payment.

Wagoner County Jail has a Tiger Kiosk in the Lobby that accepts cash, debit or credit cards.

If you can't get your questions answered online call the Wagoner County Jail at 918-485-3124.

Choice 2 - Deposit Inmate Money Online

Wagoner County Jail and others often use a private company to process all online deposits to an inmate's account. The company charges you a small fee for doing so, but the fee probably isn't as much as gas and parking would cost to take it to the jail in person.

Go to the online site for depositing funds. You will need to register an account, which is free to do and use a debit/credit card for the deposits.

Choice 3 - Mail the Inmate Deposit to the Jail

Mailing a deposit takes more time to process than the other methods but can be done if you live too far away to bring it in person and you don't have a debit/credit card for online deposits. Never send cash. Always send a Money Order from the US Post Office, a reputable bank or Western Union.

Make the Money Order out to the inmate's name and put their Inmate ID# in memo section of the Money Order.

Call Wagoner County Jail at 918-485-3124 to confirm the address to send the money order to and how they want it made out.

Failure to do this properly will delay your inmate getting his account credited and may require you to have to resubmit a second money order.

Call 918-485-3124 to ask facility personnel who to make the money order out to, and where to send it.
