About the Bradford County Correctional Facility

When the new facility was built in Bradford County, the old one was given to the historical society and now functions as a museum. The new Bradford County Correctional Facility houses all of the arrested offenders in the county, both felony and misdemeanor charges and they remain for both their trial and their sentence.

While incarcerated the Bradford County Correctional Facility is responsible for the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of each inmate and provides healthy meals, counseling, clean clothing and bedding, recreational time and activities, exercise, educational opportunities, support groups, drug and alcohol programming, GED, parenting classes, literacy, sex offender program, career services, emotional literacy classes, and journaling.
