Anyone with a concern or question regarding programs or inmates can contact the staff at 610-635-7100. Detainees may be there while they are waiting for trial, while they are in trial waiting for sentencing, and when they are serving a sentence, unless they qualify for the work program at which time they will be transferred to the Work Release.

Along with the general population and the work release program a weekend sentence is available for those who qualify who will be required to spend weekends at the detention center and then return to their homes for the week, and a litter pick up program for those who are doing community service for their sentence.

Upon arrival a medical assessment is conducted as part of the intake and booking process, and this will determine if there are immediate medical needs and ongoing care that will be required, and they will be set up with physicians and nurses to provide this care and deliver prescription medication each day. Specialized treatments may require the transportation of the inmate to another location such as a hospital, dental office, or other provider and they will be taken to their appointment and returned safely via the transportation department. There are professionals on staff to provide necessary medical care and mental health support around the clock.

Behavioral health services are also provided onsite and any assessed disabilities will receive all required support and accommodation to make the experience safe and productive for them. Substance abuse treatments are also provided to all who need it, and there is an education program on substance use and preventing addiction. Both religious counselling and programming is provided for any who are religious and prefer these services and support from a chaplain.
