Families can buy snacks, hygiene items and other approved goods for someone at the Daphne Police Department Jail through Kimble's (Turnkey) Inmate Canteen. The Daphne Police Department set up this service.
Credit card orders go through right away. Bank account drafts take 3 to 5 days to reach Inmate Canteen. Only a few items can be brought in by hand: sealed white T-shirts, underwear and socks, writing paper, envelopes and stamps. The drop-off window for those is Wednesday, 1:00–3:00 p.m.

May family bring prescription pills to the city lockup?
Yes; inside Inmate Canteen, pick Give Products to build a care package. Inmate Canteen delivery days for Hwy 98 aren't published; for when care packages reach the cellblock, call the jail at 251-620-0550.

The Wednesday window takes plain white tees, briefs and socks in sealed packs, plus paper, envelopes and postage, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Hand everything to a corrections officer in person, because nothing may be left at the door.
Current prescriptions in original pharmacy packaging may be dropped off, but over-the-counter drugs are refused. Writing paper and envelopes can also come by mail; our Daphne mail page shows how to label the envelope.
