Daphne Police Department Jail Inmate Phone & Email

Inmates at the Daphne Police Department Jail may place outgoing calls, though, as at most jails, incoming calls for inmates aren't taken. Start with the Corrections Unit at 251-620-0550: ask which phone vendor serves the jail and how to open a prepaid calling account tied to your number.

• Newly booked people usually get a chance to call family or a bondsman. Keep your phone on and answer unknown numbers after an arrest.
• All calls except approved attorney calls are recorded and may be monitored. Never talk about the case on a jail phone.
• Many cell phones block collect calls, so a prepaid account is the surest way to get calls.
• To stay in touch in writing, send a message through Inmate Canteen (select "Daphne Police Department, AL").

Don't call the 911 or dispatch line (251-620-0100) for inmate questions unless it's an emergency.
