Which police department in the Shoals made the arrest?

Colbert is part of the Shoals, and three cities run their own police. Numbers from official city and sheriff sites: - Muscle Shoals Police Department, non-emergency 256-383-6746 - Sheffield Police Department, either 256-383-1771 or 256-386-5630 - Tuscumbia Police Department, 256-383-3121, which also runs the city jail

Leighton, Littleville, Cherokee and the rural west end are covered mostly by sheriff's deputies, and troopers work U.S. 72 and U.S. 43. Florence and Lauderdale County sit just across the Tennessee River, so an arrest on the north bank is a Lauderdale case, not a Colbert one.

Muscle Shoals officers may keep people in their own jail, and Tuscumbia holds women. Sheffield arrests and other men are taken to the county jail. If you're unsure, call the county jail at 256-383-0741 first, then the city police where the arrest happened.

  • Where they are sent depends on ICE.
  • Search the online detainee locator using their alien number (A-number) and birth country. People without the A-number can use the full legal name, birth date, and country of birth.
  • With questions, reach the New Orleans field office: 181 James Drive W, St. Rose, LA 70087, 504-318-2360.
