City charges are handled in Andalusia's municipal court, while county charges go through the circuit clerk. Other towns, such as Opp, run their own police departments. The county commission renewed its contracts in July 2026 for the jail to house and feed municipal inmates through fiscal year 2027, so a town arrest often ends on Hillcrest Drive, but ask whichever department made the arrest where it took your person.
