Carry ID, the exact name on the booking and the whole sum. Certified checks, money orders, and cashier's checks are the safer forms to carry. Personal checks are usually refused.

You may, when the court allows a surety bond. Make sure the Fayette agent is licensed in Alabama, and get the fee, security and no-show terms on paper. Agents often charge near a tenth of the bond; that fee stays with them even when a case is dismissed.
