Pre-Paid Collect Call Accounts allow your loved one to call you either at home or on your mobile device.
Friends and family can create an account and deposit money conveniently and securely.
This account belongs only to the owner of the account/phone number, who is the only person to add funds, inquire about call charges and balances, and request any changes to the account.
The funds you add to your pre-paid account can only be used to call the designated phone number on the account.

Can I Communicate By Email With An Inmate?
The Benton County Jail uses Smart Jail Mail, a safe and secure two way electronic messaging software designed specifically for communicating with inmates, prisoners, and detainees in correctional institutions.
This allows those who are incarcerated or detained to communicate safely and quickly with family and friends outside of the detention center.
Inmates can send and receive electronic letters using a safe and secure computer kiosk or tablet stationed in the Craighead County Juvenile Detention Center.
Each message costs just 50 cents which is cheaper than a postage stamp and envelope.
The message can be sent with postage paid and will be free to open and read for the recipient.
Or, the message can be sent collect / "COD" for free and will be paid for by the recipient.
To send or receive a message you MUST open a SmartJailMail account, follow these steps:
1. Sign Up.
2. Find your Inmate.
3. Get the inmate's approval to Communicate
4. Purchase credits.
Each message sent costs $0.50.
In order to get this price you have to purchase at least ten (10) message credits... $5.00.
Each photo sent costs $1.00.
1. Enroll in an account with Securus Technologies.
2. Choose one of three account types, Securus Debit, Advance Connect or Direct Bill.
3. Choose [facility_name_1}, then connect with your inmate.
