Prairie County Jail Inmate Visitation

Prairie County Jail Visiting Hours and Visitation Schedule

Visitation for males is held on from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, but a visitation appointment must be made on the Friday before.

If you do not have an appointment the visit will not be allowed.

The appointments are 20 minutes a piece per detainee and only two people can visit an inmate.

The two must visit at the same time -- there will not be an extra 20 minutes allowed to visit the second visitor.

When you come to visit an inmate you will be run through the state system to make sure you are not a wanted fugitive or convicted felon.

There will also be a search upon entry.

The jail has the right to refuse visitation for any detainee at any time.
