The Scott County Jail is licensed for 72 inmates, but it often has to make room for more, especially on weekends. Most city and county jails in Arkansas turn over their inmate population on roughly this schedule:

A licensed bondsman charges 10% of the bond, rounded up to the nearest $5 (Ark. Code §17-19-301), paid before release along with small nonrefundable state fees.
