Sonoma County Probation Camp

With 24 beds, the short term treatment center that is known as the Sonoma County Probation Camp operates around the clock and accepts male juvenile offenders who are over the age of 15 and not over 18 years of age. Originally established in 1955, this camp had been in continual operation since and offers a space for young offenders to learn new skills, take responsibility for their actions, learn to be part of a team and work together with others. At this time the camp is no longer accepting juveniles or other detainees, due to the low population that it experienced. It closed in 2021, with plans to relaunch in the future but no definitive date or plan for when that will occur. Mail: Due to the current closure, no mail is accepted at this location. Phones: Phones are located within the common areas for when the location is populated. Visitation: Due to temporary closure there are no visits at this location.
