Inmate Bail, Bonds & How it Works

District of Columbia no longer allows outside bail companies to act as an agent for people arrested there, so if an inmate wants to be bonded out it must be by a friend, family member or themselves.

The bail page lists the various bail bond amounts for each offense, the different types of bonds, acceptable bail bond collateral, bond costs, where to post a bond and the hours you can post a bond in District of Columbia.
