Back to questions ↑3. Bond in Quincy
Gadsden is in the Second Judicial Circuit, which also covers Leon. A judge holds first appearance inside 24 hours and may allow:
- ROR without money.
- A cash bond paid in full, returned once the case ends, minus costs.
- A surety bond: the bondsman's 10 percent fee, $100 per charge minimum, is kept.
Leon County warrants, Georgia warrants and probation holds can each stop release. A skipped hearing creates a warrant. See our Gadsden bail guide.
Back to questions ↑4. Is a Havana or Chattahoochee warrant arrest booked on Pat Thomas Parkway?
It is. Deputies share the Pat Thomas Parkway jail with the Havana, Chattahoochee and Gretna police, so warrant arrests from all of them end up there. Calling the Sheriff's Office at 850-627-9233 will settle custody, and staff can tell you about bond and visiting hours. The clerk's website offers case lookups showing any capias or bench warrant. FDLE's statewide wanted register adds warrants from other agencies. Should a warrant be out for you, an attorney can schedule a surrender and ask for a prompt bond hearing at the courthouse on Jefferson Street. Bring a photo ID.
