Troup County Jail Visitation Application Process
Troup County Jail requires all visitors to be approved by both the inmate and the jail prior to visiting your inmate, even if the visit is a remote video visit.
Incomplete information on any application is cause for denial.
Honesty, especially regarding past criminal convictions, probation etc., is important. These things will most likely show up on a background check, if one is done - which if lied about - will cause visits to be denied.
At Home Video Visitation
Troup County Jail uses Securus Video Connect for Remote Inmate Video Visitation from your home computer or other devices no matter where you are.

Your entire visit is being monitored and recorded. Do not say or do anything that you would not want being replayed in court.
You should schedule your visit, in advance, at a time that works best for you.
