Jackson County Jail Inmate Search and Mugshots, Holton, KS

A Jackson County, Kansas inmate search starts with the sheriff's jail roster, which shows each person held at the Holton jail by name, booking number, charges, bond and arresting agency. The roster carries no mugshot gallery; a booking photo has to be requested from the sheriff. Families can also check custody on VINELink and sign up for release alerts there. Staff at 785-364-2251 confirm a booking by phone, and once charges are filed the case appears on Kansas CaseSearch.

1. How do I search the Holton roster?

Open the sheriff's jail roster and type a last name or a booking number. Each entry gives the charges, the bond set on each count and the agency that brought the person in, so it also answers which department made the arrest. Someone released earlier in the day may already be gone from the list. If a name is missing, call the jail at 785-364-2251; staff can say whether the person was booked and released, moved, or never brought to Holton.
