Mugshot questions are taken up below. VINELink, KYeCourts guest search and our court guide cover alerts and court dates.

Where are Jackson County inmates held?

They're held at the Jackson County Detention Center on McCammon Ridge Road in McKee. Phone 606-287-4551 with the legal name. Right after an arrest, the sheriff (606-287-7121) or McKee police can say whether booking is complete. Intake, fingerprints and a health screening come first, so be patient with the first call.

Yes. Put an open records request in writing to McCammon Ridge Road, list the inmate and arrest date, and request the mugshot specifically. News media outlets may direct their requests to the sheriff instead. ICE photos need the ICE FOIA page. The Marshals release federal mugshots only to find a fugitive.

  1. ICE sends an I-247A detainer to the jail.
  2. After Jackson's charges no longer justify custody, the jail can keep the inmate for 48 hours at most past that release.
  3. ICE agents need to pick up the inmate before that deadline.
  4. If not, the jail releases them.
