• Visits are for one hour. One visit per night.
• To schedule an appointment you must call:
  -  Tuesday visits; visitors must call on Monday between the hours of 12:30pm and 3:30pm.
  -  Thursday visits; visitors must call on Wednesday between the hours of 12:30pm and 3:30pm.
  -  Saturday visits; visitors must call on Thursday between the hours of 1230pm and 3:30pm.
  -  Sunday visits; visitors must call on Friday between the hours of 1230pm and 3:30pm.
• Inmates must be incarcerated for four (4) days in the Penobscot County Jail before they are eligible for a visit.

What is the Cost of a Remote Video Visit?
Costs vary and are subject to change, but generally visits range from $5.00 to $15.00 for a 15 to 30 minute online or on-site video visit.

How do you know if your Inmate will be available during the time you schedule?
The Securus system knows the times that Penobscot County Jail inmates are available for remote video visits.

Newspapers may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher.

Magazines
News, special interest or sports magazines may also be mailed to an inmate as long as they are shipped directly from the publisher. Any magazines that contain profanity, weapons, pornography or other content that is adult in nature will be confiscated by the jail staff and will NOT be delivered to the inmate.

Books
