As well as providing a safe, and secure, facility that protects juveniles from each other and the community from any juvenile offenders. Staff create a caring environment and along with supporting and encouraging learning both in academics and life skills. Youth who are aged 9 to 17, both male and female, are housed at this one story facility. It houses up to 40 juveniles at any time, and this large campus is located on 600 acres. It is comprised of five housing units with 8 pods in each that are surrounding a common area. Within the common area the juveniles will eat their meals, study, watch television, and attend the programs for their pod. A dayroom is also present, and the location has a full size gymnasium for physical activity and exercise. Each of the rooms for sleeping have a window for natural lighting, air conditioning is maintained throughout the facility, and outdoor recreation space is available. The central area holds the security center that monitors doors, hallways, and common areas, four classrooms, intake, medical space, and the visitor lobby.
